All candidates were interviewed, and hand picked by a panel that included HBPWF Board Members, OEC and a coaching consultant with over 28 years of football coaching experience. The Pop Warner / Little Scholars youth sports program has over 75 years of experience teaching the game of football. Our players are reaping the benefits of such a respected and refined program. Shane Rooney Scholarship Fund On January 18th, 2001 13 year old Shane Rooney was struck by a Drunk Driver. After spending 10 days in a coma, Shane passed away at UCI Medical Center. Shane was a student at Vist View Middle School and was active in Little League as well as Pop Warner Football. Shane will be greatly missed. |
